| Hey, a friend and I have got a little project and we need to gather as many Lite-ON and especially OEM of Lite-ON firmwares as we can. At this time we only need firmwares for the 6 series drives. Please take a moment to read through the list below and if your drive is a Lite-ON or an OEM of a Lite-ON and your firmware isn't listed below could you back up the firmware and email it to me? Read the mtkflash sticky guide here to learn about how to backup your firmware. | Can you send me in zip file, Memorex 48maxx -SWS3.bin and Memorex 52MAXX-6WS3.BIN if is it similar for LTR-48125W and LTR-52246S -I have read Memorex firms are better in quality than original Liteon but a liitle slower ,so i would like to find my self which is better for me. I have firmware backed up from my TDK VeloCD 321040B and Verbatim VBT321040A. Turns out that I could successfully use the XSU1 firmware so both acts as LTR40125S. Are you interested in these? Let me know by email if you want them. |

| The 4Kus firmware you are looking for is the first available for each burner & is not available for download from 4KUS site, despite numerous requests. Only available if extracted from an unflashed burner. Sorry I flashed my CDR- 6S48 (2SG1) yesterday before I read your post. I will try to get you the CDR- 6S48 tomorrow as I have to Install another "Liteon" burner. |

| Shoot, I wish I had read this thread before I flashed my LTR-48246S It had something before SS06 in it when I got it. I flashed it up right away, don't believe the Lite-On flash util has a backup option?? If it does, I would have used it, not at my comp right now. |
