| Hi all, im a new user i have a Lity 851s with last fw that liteonit have relase.... i have a prob when i try to change the booktype of DVD+r (Verbatim) 1- Put DVD+R into LITY 2- Start BOOKTYPE program 3- Select DVD-ROM for new booktype 4- Click on Change button... booktype "say" to me that work is finish but when i put again this DVD in the LITY BookType and NERO INFO TOOL read it again +R and no ROM ... what happen? why no change it?? i have ASPI 4.6 |

| Don't use Nero InfoTool to check the booktype of a burned disc. Liteon's Booktype Utility version 1.2.0 will show you the booktype of a burned DVD+R disc as shown in the screenshot below.

| You use the program before burning to set the drive so that it will burn DVD+R and DVD+RW and DVD+R DL discs as DVD-ROM. Then you can use the same program after burning a disc to check what the "Current Disc Booktype" is.

| but if BOOKTYPE b4 the burning say to me that the change is done but in CURRENT DISCK BOOTYPE is write again DVD+R ... is no change right? or the type will change after? sorry again... |
| IMHO Changing booktype only happens DURING burning in DVD+Rs discs; so, it can be checked ONLY after burning. |
