1. Right click the mouse to copy the older version .bin firmwae which has back up before
2. Paste it into an official .exe firmware which has an unlocked flasher, such as iHAS324 B_AL18, you can find it at Firmware HQ
3. Choose the suitable Drive carefully or it may kill your Drive.

Re: Liteon iHBS112 & 212 12x BD-RW

I received my lite-on iHBS112-29 (firmware CL0K) today. What is the most consistent and best burn speed for Samrtblu BD-R and Verbatim 4x BD-R ? Thanks.

PL01.bin => AL18.EXE = warning.PNGflash-program.PNG

and that will work for the liteon ihbs112-37 2, mfd: september 2011, fw: PL04?

maybe it is possible with CL0K.bin for the liteon ihbs112-37 2, mfd: september 2011, fw: PL01/04?

CL0K.bin => AL18.EXE = warning.PNG

I have mentioned that flashing a CL0k firmware into a Drive which has PL0X firmware is impossible.

Re: Liteon iHBS112 & 212 12x BD-RW

sorry, yes you did.

have a look at my last post, i have included one more pic for the "PL01.bin => AL18.EXE =" flash.
that shows PL04 to AL18 instead of PL04 to PL01. is that correct?

Please ensure the flasher tell you to flash PL04 => PL01 then flash it.

Re: Liteon iHBS112 & 212 12x BD-RW

i think there is a problem. it shows PL04 to AL18 instead of PL04 to PL01.
i don't think that is correct, right?

Re: Liteon iHBS112 & 212 12x BD-RW

@2601

maybe you use an edited version of AL18.EXE from firmware hq?
maybe you can upload your version?
or send it via email?
because if you have a look at my screenshots you will see it don't works with my AL18.EXE version that i have had downloaded today.

but you told there are some special methods.
will you give some explanations?

Re: Liteon iHBS112 & 212 12x BD-RW

Imgburn failed to verify the discs (2 burns) I burned with Lite-on iHBS 112-29. It gives error message of "L-EC Uncorrectable Error". What causes this kind of error ? I want to make sure this is not a hardware error since I am still able to return this drive for refund or exchange. Thanks.

That would usually mean either a weak reading drive or a bad burn/dirty or scratched disc. Double check for fingerprints on the disc and post your burn and verify imgburn graphs please? You can open and save them from ODC. file>open>imgburn files.

I was also reminded by Albert in another thread how highly drive-dependent having OPC enabled can be. Does vary from one drive to another. Don't hesitate to clear the drive's OPC history and try burning with OPC off to look for a burn quality difference.

Feel free to install the current version of ImgBurn too.

v2.5.0.0 is almost 3 years old and it's not like you have to pay to update!

I'd like to ask somebody, what settings of the iHBS112 do I need to change?
(image below)

Thanks in advance

1 image, not much to change, unless you want to to try something, or you are having problems burning DVD's
2. I would select DVD-ROM on +R and Dual Layer media and before clicking on the SET, i would also mark the set as default box.
3. If you live in a region two area leave it as it is.
