Hmm, it's not a riplock. For some reason +R DL is limited to 8x, while commercial DL DVDs can be read at 12x.

Edit: Sorry, yes it is a riplock.

The iHAS120/220 can read 8x +DL media at 12x speed and 2.4x +DL media at 8x speed.

Thank you C0deKing, and thank you for the info 2601. I had actually only tested it with Verbatim MKM001 (2,4x). After I saw that it only reads them at 8x, I didn't use the drive for DL TRTs after that.

Thanks 2601. My video was on a 2.4x DL disc and data on a 8x DL disc, so it looked like a riplock but I thought it was strange that it was only for +R DL.

Anyway it's gone now and will even go to 16x.

Thanks. Jitter is quite high compared with other burners but it's better than the A1/A4 series.
