I just bought some cheapo Magnavox 16x DVD+R from OfficeMax -- 100 pack for $16.

Any good? I don't understand why it doesn't have the spikes in the create disk tab like everyone else has. This is a brand new burner, and this is the 5th or so burn total on it.

To get those "spikes", you have to enable OHT (Online Hyper Tuning; search the forum. )

Not that nice, but drop the speed to 12x or 8x and see. And to see what others think about CMC MAG M01, you can do a search.

Besides that spike it would have been a very good burn for CMC MAG M01.

Did it by any chance have a defect in that area you can visibly see?

I've enabled all on this run. I did not see any physical issues with the last disk, nor this one. Looks like that spike is a feature of this batch.

Hi,

my iHAS120 doesn't scan jitter. There's a error message upcoming when the jitter-test should begin at the end of the "normal" test. i don't know how to solve this problem. i updatet the firmware to 7L0E but nothing changes.

You'll need to download a Codeking's modified version of CDDVDSpeed which enables jitter reading from the iHAS series.
