    Maxell 16x DVD+R YUDEN000 T03 @ 24x

    You can see on the disc the burn fails at the start of the problem. The rest of the disc looks unburnt. Looks like the old CLV speed change rings, but the ring isn't a solid line, it kind of just fades slowly to the darker ring.

    I just bought ihas324, and i have a question.
    is it possible to see a 24x speed on it? and if so, then how, on what media?
    With original bios there is always x16 (visible options in nero) (tried different medias)
    with BL1A and FHT/OHT/OS enabled i can see 20x, and it burns 20x (max 19 visible)
    Its funny that my crossed flash 18a1p@20a1h can burn faster.
    even lg gh22lp20 have x22 REAL, without any 'tuning'
    can anybody explain that, am i doing something wrong or shame on you liteon...

    and something else, what is difference between original bios bl17 and bl1a which is unofficial (?).
    I see that with bl17 had 10-20 pie's, and with bl1a i have 40-60. both x16 with no tuning options enabled.
    same media, a few tries, so its for sure, question is why its worse than fabric

    24x only supported with YUDEN000 T03 and TYG03 media.

    BL1A is newer firmware, but it seems Lite-On have removed it from the download site, probably due to the burning issues with overspeed enabled.
