    Future MID's? The NEC 7240 has interesting media codes also, like TYG04 & TYG05, MCC03RG40 and 50.

    Do you have DVDInfoPro? If so can you scan with it and this drive. Mine just hangs when I try and I get intermittent hangs with Nero CD-DVD Speed with this drive and the iHAP322. I think there is an issue with both of these drives as my other scanning drives never have this problem.

    What a wrought. Reminds me of the first 12x drive that went to 12x at the 4GB point and took longer than the speed below.

    PLDS/LiteOn has to add a higher OS speed and more strategies for 18x, 20x, 22x and 24x to make this a good drive.

    I have no problems scanning. Just with OS burning.

    just a glitch BenQ scan indicates just 9.8% in the same area. I will come back to this MID later.
