Very nice job CK!

The SCR firmware is definitely better than the previous non-SCR version. Quite a nice burn for 16x in case of this particular media ... I generally only burn this media at 12x ...

I previously hesitated to move up to test firmware from stock, because I tend not to burn 16x media faster than 8x or 12x, and I was afraid that slower speed burns might actually get worse. However, the quality is holding.

This is an 8x burn of a PAPA from a 100-pack spindle with XV6D HT743 SCR.

Aren't those firmware links a little outdated? The newest one there is XV64 HT706, but the latest firmware that was available from Wind was XV6D HT743.

Hi dezraj and welcome to cdfreaks.

The A3 SCR 3 firmware is still under test. Hopefully all going well it will be released in the future. In the meantime, SCR 2 produces very good results.
