liteon 24103s?

I have just received and installed what I thought was a
2410b which everyone rates . However it appears to be a 2410S3 ???? with a firmware revision of xb03 ? Does anybody know the difference and will it affect the great things the 2410b is capable of like copying 1:1 safedisc ver. 2.51 . The outside of the box states 2410b????
any suggestions liteon forum??

If you searched the Lite-On forum you would have found several topics on this one!!!

But yes, it supports everything. It's just a LTR-32123S with reduced write speeds.

thanks i found the search function later on and the subjects on this unit.sorry I am new to all this forum stuff ....!! thanks anyway
by the way the last safe disc 2 game I have successfully copied on my liteon was command & conquer renegade it worked fine with the usual settings. however installing the game took forever
almost 25 mins for the drive to input all the data ??? so slow game works ok. any ideas why the copy installs so slow????

1: It may be low quality media you used.
2: Check if DMA is enabled for all your drives.
3: The game may take long time to install.....becuse of many compressed files on the CD maybe?
