LiteOn 1635S/16H5S Fast Burn Firmware

I think it's time to let others try this firmware. I've run lots of tests and it seems to be working well, even with OHT, but I tend to get slightly better and of course faster 12x results with HT. But this may be just my drive and media. Below are some burns I did recently after a "Clear OPC" using the Test SmartBurn, so this is worst case. My experience is the second burn of the same media type is a little quicker and has better quality. Below are a selection of HT and OHT scans.

So what does fast burn do:
It changes the 8x and 12x burn curves for +R and -R to the same as the 6S drives but with an additional CAV part to bypass the resonant point, which can cause some very nasty errors.

Note:
1/ I strongly recommend doing a "Clear OPC" using the Test SmartBurn, if you are flashing from non FBD firmware. If you're already using FBD firmware then this is not required as the firmware will clear the OPC if the HT data is a different version.
2/ The first few burns of each media type may be slower and of a slightly lesser quality than normal.
3/ All scans using this firmware should be displayed here and not in the test firmware threads.
4/ Only scans from 8x or 12x burns should be displayed, as the quality at other burn speeds is not affected by this patch.
5/ All scans must be from a 5S drive using FBD firmware. No exceptions!
6/ Using this firmware will void your warranty. If your drive should fail after flashing to this firmware, do not return it, instead do the right thing and purchase a new drive.

@All, please understand that I didn't donate just to get preferential treatment, it was mainly due to CK's help in reviving my mis-flashed 160P6S drive a while back ago by actually rejuvenating the actual firmware with EEPROM data embedded in. So it wasn't just, "Here are the instructions, try it." At first, I didn't notice the PayPal link after visiting their page many times, since I always jumped to the direct firmwares and/or utilities pages, but it's there on the main page.

Hopefully LiteOn will fix that one when they get time to release the next version. I understand the OHT is still enabled, it's just not displayed as enabled.

This is the first burn (OPC was cleared) and it's not pretty.

Read Transfer tests in a NEC 4551 and a BenQ 1655 are also ugly around the PIF mountain, but the disc can be read.

Please note that I usually get some randomly located minor dips in the Read Transfer test from this external LiteOn 1635S, but the dips from 1.7-1.9GB are also present in TRT on the two other tested drives.
(Scans from other drives not attached because of rule #5).

This is the third burn.

HyperTuning was supposed to have been disabled on this burn, but I used SmartBurn to disable everything except SmartBurn while the blank disc was loaded and I didn't cycle the tray. From the blink rate during the burn I could tell that HyperTuning was enabled.

I thought that this behaviour had been changed so that HyperTuning is changed right away, but apparently not!

EDIT:

My NEC 4551 drive thinks the PIF peak just after 1GB is much worse than the LiteOn scan shows (maximum 24 PIF per 1 ECC block), and although my NEC is a quirky scanner, it's usually pretty consistent for PIF at 12x scanning speed.

I will test to see if this gets better in the next burn.

EDIT2:

And my BenQ also sees a big PIF peak in the same location (maximum 21 per 8 ECC blocks).
