Hello guys I have weird problem. My 48X Lite-on cd burner can burn cds fine, such as movies, audio cds etc... but when I make an Audio cds it makes weird cracking noises in the background of the songs. I have tried different blank CDs brands so that is not the problem. I re-installed the drivers and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions? thank you.

Sorry I can't help but I got a similar problem with the same drive. I update to the newest firmware R40WS0B.zip but when I overburn audio discs i get a couple of pops at the beginning of most songs and some light popping intermittently throughout. I have even burned at 4x and it doesn't make much difference.
I'm using RIDATA 99minute discs.
