Lite-on LH-20A1P not reading +R media

Hello people

I have a Lite-on LH-20A1P (Firmware KL0P) which outright refuses to read +R media, opened up the drive and cleaned laser using methylated spirits and cleaned and greased up both rails with Vaseline.

Drive reads everything else fine CD-R, -R -RW +RW +R DL but +R reads as 0 bytes and under Nero CD-speed and Imgburn, they come under as +RW media (see picture).



Burning +R media on the same drive shows zero issues and plays back fine on other drives and dvd players, so if anyone can please shed some light on this mystery, it would be great.

What happens if you try to browse the +R on IsoBuster?
And do you happen to have any software like Alcohol or Daemon Tools installed?
(I kind of believe it is a software issue...)

On the other true image backup I have anydvd installed, on this backup it is just XP pro freshly installed for testing and +R media still can not be read.

In isobuster it shows the following screen, which shows the +R as a +RW and shows no files on DVD
