I have no access to real Maxell media, so I don't have any personal experience with it.

| Has anyone got/found the HL03 firmware on its own yet? Mine only has HL01 and it won't even burn YUDEN000-T02-000, all I get are power calibration errors and then write errors if it ever gets past those after multiple retries. I was trying to add some scans from this drive to the collection already on my forum but I guess I'll wait until I get HL03 on it.

| Just an update to say I no longer need the firmware! 'Thank you' to everyone that offered to help! I'm happy to report the HL03 burnt my YUDEN000-T02-000 discs without a hitch.

| I'm looking for it (HL03) almost everyday, but still without any results :| So i'm sticking with the only available one - HL01 ;-) Another thing is how to flash the drive, are old tools supporting LH-18/20A1P/H ? Here's my scan of Verbatim DLP DVD+R 16x burned at 16x. Despite strange spikes at the beginning, i think it's good enough to keep burning this batch at 16x.
