LDW 851S with GS08 Firmware booktype problems

| Here's my setup. LiteON-LD LDW 851S with the latest firmware, in an external enclosure with USB 2.0 connection.It burns like a champ and sets DVD+R to the correct booktype.So I can read the DVD+R on an older DVD-ROM drives without any problems.But I cannot read the DVD+_RW on the older DVD-ROM. I tried to use the BookType setting utility to change that but it says "Unable to query book type setting".I have attached the booktype utility's screenshot alongwith. Can you see what Im doing wrong here? Thanks |

| GS08 does not support the BookType changing feature. You need to use GS0A or GS0C. See the comprehensive tools thread in the Liteon section.
