Firmware issue? at CD and DVD Writers forum; Hi i am kinda new to the whole firmware scene so i bought this DVD drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827131264 its a sony dw-q30a and it is OEM and it wont read any DVDs that i put into it. i managed to update the firmware to YYS6 and it didnt help. can someone

its a sony dw-q30a and it is OEM and it wont read any DVDs that i put into it. i managed to update the firmware to YYS6 and it didnt help. can someone tell me what to do in a partial laymans terms?
