DVD-RW's CD capabilities vs pure CD-RW drive
I will be buying a dual format DVD writer which also soon...probably a LiteOn LDW-411S. My current LiteOn CD-RW drive (LTR-40125) is dying on me. Are the CD-related capabilities (e.g. copy protection defeating) of the LiteOn CD-RW drives better than that of the DVD drive's CD-related capabilites?

The LTR-52327S is unsurpassed for write quality on a wide range of media. Most of the DVD burners offer only mediocre CDR/RW burn quality. As for reading and copying, they appear to be performing well enough, but of course slower.
