I'm assuming the Karaoke disks are CD+G - which uses subchannel data.

You should use CloneCD instead. When reading the Karaoke CD you need to check the read subchannel for data and audio.

The Lite-On 24102B can read & write the full 96 bytes of P-W subchannel data. It is also DAO-RAW capable which is needed for backing up original titles.

You need to image the Karaoke's rather dragging & dropping if that's what you're doing.

Good imaging proogys for Karaoke are Clone CD, BlindWrite, CDMate but there are others they should be tried to see if they suit you.
