Hi all !

I have sucessfully backuped 2 games using new safedisc with my plex premium (firmware 1.05). These games where Call of Duty (SD 3.1) using Blindwrite and automatic profile and Prince of Persia - Sands of time (SD 3.15) using Blindwrite and Blindwrite tweaker with EWS and autoplay options checked and write speed 4x.

Now I try to backup another game using SD 2.9 (In Memoriam) with no success. I tried automatic profile, same profile than Prince of Persia (EWS and Autoplay enabled, write at 4x) and also new parameters (EWS and Autoplay enbled, read at 4x, write at 8x).

I only get CDs that play in the Plextor Premium and in my Pioneer 106D DVD-RW. These CDs don't work in my Matshita UJDA-740 DVD-CD-RW laptop's combo.

Before wasting more CDRs I'd like to have some advices...

Maybe should I try with Alcohol 120 % ?

Another settings in Blindwrite ?

Thank you very much for your help !

Nevermind...

I used Alcohol 120% with Alcoholer V.4.0b SafeDisc 2.9 profile and It worked great, I needed bypass EFM errors however but the backup works in all drives I use, that the important thing...

Sorry for this useless thread (not so useless maybe, some people could try this solution if they have problem to backup SD 2.9, it worked gret for me... )

See ya guys...

Keep on the good work

Well, I had another problem, solved, with SafeDisc 2.9 with game : URU - Ages beyond Myst.

After getting some CDs that only play in the Plew Premium , I had to use another solution : Make the image with Alcohol 120% using SD 2.9's Alcoholer profile then write this image with Blindwrite using Autoplay and EWS options of Blindwrite tweaker.

Another victory for my Plex Premium, definitly the best CD-RW

See ya guy...

PS: don't hesitate to give your comments about SafeDisc an Plex Premium and the way you backup these protections

Well, finally, my backup of "URU - Ages beyond Myst" doesn't work .

I tried it only on my Pioneer 106D DVD-RW and it was ok, but this backup doesn't even work in the Plex Premium and it doesn't work in my Matshita UJDA-740 DVD/CD-RW laptop combo.

What I don't understand is that I was able to backup another SD 2.9 game just some days before this one.

I suceeded to burn a copy back sd29.dat file from the sheep test

Any suggestion would be really appreciated

Thanks a lot guys, and see ya...

Your backup doesn't work because it is Safedisc 3.10. I Presume you scanned with Clonyxxl which the current version only detects up to Safedisc 2.9 and anything above 2.9 still shows up as 2.9(Phew).
