Hello all,

I was googling around and found this thread for plextor linux software. Plextools is great, but I use FreeBSD as my desktop and was interested in DAE a little more advanced (and up to date) than cdparanoia. I was hoping to find software to report C2 and CU counts durring ripping. Your programs look like a great start in the right direction.

I modifeid the makefile of pxlinux and was able to compile it under FreeBSD 5.4 with a few errors (adding "-lcam" to c++ command). However running has been a different story. I'm not a programmer and thus haven't been able to figure out how to change the sytem calls to freebsd format. It sounds like the project is small now, but I'd be willing to help in testing and compiling on *BSD environments. As of now, my (nonexistent) C++ knowlege has me stumped.

Thanks!

I think it only could've been the headers or the devfs (changed to udev).
There were some headers in the wrong locations... I've fixed this...
Today I recompiled pxscan for linux and it's working fine!

Any news about that troll?
