| px 712a not reading cds reading, writing dvds just fine, but will not accept a cdr. i just had to reboot winxp, put a new version on with all the updates, and i am convinced this is where my problem occurred. upgraded the firmware to 1.07, but no luck (not surprised) plextools shows all is well. any suggestions? tia |

| Re: px 712a not reading cds you reinstalled win over a previous instalation? this is not recomended. please make a clean install, then your problems should dissapear.
