| As there are now a lot more Plextor models, to make it easier to find scans for the particular model you are interested in, new threads have been created for some models. Please use these thread to post your scans if one exists below. Thanks. 755A/SA: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=187098 760A/SA: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=187096 716A/SA: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=187144 708/712A/SA: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=187146 Also please use this thread by hwp for Plextor CD quality scans: Post your Plextor CD quality scans here ----------------------------------------------------------------- Don’t you think current firmware threads are too scrambled with all the scans and comments? (currently 712a fw1.05, 716a fw1.01 etc.) Besides, more people are interested to see how our Plextor performs in different types of media (+R/RW, -R/RW, +R DL, etc). How about posting your scan here, in the media test forum or anywhere else (old and new) and put the links here. For all Plextor drives and firmware versions! To make this thread consistent, I would suggest each post follows this guideline by Jamos or the simple one below. Simple guide to post: start with your Drive, FW, Media (brand), burn speed and time. Yes we would like to see your burn time if available! For example: PX-708A fw1.08, YUDEN000T02 (Fuji Made in Japan) DVD+R 8x, burned at 8x, 8:30 mins. (link here). Then follow by the scans including PI/PO error Sum8 test and/or Sum1 test. It is not recommended to scan your media with other drives! I would also suggest (I'm not a mod so I can only suggest ) to make this thread purely for posting scans or links to scans, showing good and bad ones. Hence, there is no need to comment or ask question. Make it simple and clean for future reference.

| Hey that scan looks better than the others I've seen. Is it consistant. I am considering a new burner 716, 108, 3500.
