Had to redo the disc from the previous post because I dropped it on its edge, making a fisheye (unreadable) . Next disc from same 25 spindle.

A cheap 25 spindle I picked up for secondary backups. Could have been one of five MID's according to videohelp.com, but naturally I had to add another. The discs have very light scratches and smudges on the data side, but the spindle wasn't sealed, so I don't know whether they were actually shipped that way. Just what you'd expect from Intenso though, B-grade material. Works for the intended purpose, 16X TRT was perfect in LH-16A1S.

^ Forgot to add the Plex needed 1:35 to work out a strat for this burn. I think many other burners might have problems with these.

^ Pioneer makes a coaster...

2nd burn from this Intenso spindle, ISO Image with RecordNow DX 4.61 @6X. Only 30 sec. pre-burn initialization this time.

^ Not a single coaster from the remaining 20-odd discs burned with the Plex. These would be half-decent, if the burner can handle them and if it weren't for the handling blemishes. Beef Barley 6x on mkm001 is the sweet spot.

Thanks for the info, I will give it a go before I swap out the PX-755A to try a PX-810SA for a few burns. If it doesn't work, you owe me a DL though, (LOL). What about the Drive Settings in Plextools as regards to AutoStrategy & PowerRec, off/on?

AS on DL is always disable so you can't do anything about that, PowerRec=On (always)
AS i use them in Auto For every other media

Strange, on my 760, it's the only way to get some good results.
@4x sometimes i get burn errors, and @2.4x i don't have the patience for that... lol

Verbatim 8X Dvd+R DL, 15 pack spindle made in Singapore, MID=MKM 003. Burnt @10X with PX-755A 1.08 & ImgBurn, then scanned with Lite-ON SHM-165H6S HS0E @4X.

Same burn as above but rescanned with SH-S203B SB01-2 FB FR @4X.
