Plextor 750UF problems

Plextor Writer Discuss, Plextor 750UF problems at CD and DVD Writers forum; I have gat a Plextor 750UFburner, after burning one DVD the burner could not read the second one and kept on saying insert a new CD. When I disconnect the Plextor from FireWire it show’s it as DVDRW, when I go to my computer it shows as CD player. Dose

Connecting a DVD-writer to a computer will make Windows report a new CD-device. That is normal.

Other than that, please give us additional information. What software are you using and what exactly are you doing or trying to do.

i am using Nero7 Ultra Edition, and just trying to back up my external hard drive which is data and music and videos, i am using sony dvd's.
