yess but can I still burn cds with safe disc 2 etc
because in the past I updated my firmware of my plextor 12x and I Couldn't burn them

Never seen a firmware making a drive worse at backing up discs (and that includes the 12X plextor).

Is there a firmware out for this drive that makes it faster? Like the ones for some LiteOn, LG burners, etc...
