Just to make sure: I want to fill an iso-dvd with about 4,1 gigabytes of files. Make Disc states the target disc is too small, giving a file size with 9 digits and saying that it needs a "{many, many digits} bytes required" statement. Can anyone confirm?

Yep, I had exactly the same issue with DVD-Video (guess it's the same problem for all DVD projects). When you try to burn, an alert box appears saying you need, say, 3,800,000,000 bytes for the compilation but there is only 0 bytes available on the blank disc in the drive..... Rolled back to 3.10 and all works well again.

So, it's not me who's the idiot. At least in this case. Thank you.

Just enable overburning and then when error comes up an extra option with button labeled 'force' or 'continue anyways' (mind fails me right now) is visible. Just select that button and project continues as per normal.

The easy way was roll-back to 3.10 and everytihng is OK

Just wanted to add my screenshot. Very nice, indeed.

I tried a burn with the new Plextools XL 3.11 and this overburning option enabled in Disc Maker.
The burner used is a Plextor PX-760A with latest firmware 1.05.
- I did not want to risk a DVD R media for that (and I was right)
- It was not possible to enable this option with a DVD-RW in the burner
- With a DVD+RW the burning went to the end on but this sample was not playable in any of my 3 standalone DVD players.
Such DVD video's burned even with the XL 3.02 TRIAL version are palayable in my standlones

So in the present case I give this "high distinction" to Plextor
and hope they fix that quickly !

Yes, but with rather slim functionality. There isn't even the "Read Test" implemented, which certainly doesn't need special hardware like the Q-Scan features.

Damn, I can't make it work with Sony blue-ray discs ... Damn Plextor people. I say, I want a 760 that burns blue-ray discs. Is this demanding too much? I mean, it's Christmas, everybody!
