I own one (760SA) and very happy with it. Fastest dual layer rom reader, excellent scanner, very good at 8x and 12x. That's more than enough for me, plus it supports overburn.
I never do 18x and 20x for my daily use. Only for testing and benchmarking.

@ doxaios. Check this thread http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=210655
There are still minor differences between 755 and 760. Practical writing quality should be very close. -

I own just one 760A (IDE). Its a nice drive, and has some nice features and has exceptional qualtiy, but i think there are better burners out there right now. although i have it setup in this rig, its not really used for burning anymore, only reading stuff.

I have one and having arrived late to the Plextor camp am just now discovering Plextools and learning to use the many features. I just ordered a second PX-760A today fearing these will not be around and for sale much longer
Happy Burning everyone

In this thread I have noticed that some say just 760 or 760A and then others talk about the 760SA. It has been my understanding that the 760SA is not available for purchase in the United States however; the PX-755SA has been available in the U.S. for sometime now. Has Plextor started selling the PX-760SA (SATA) burner in the U.S.?
PS: Using my PX-755SA and Verbatim 16X DVD+R White Inkjet Printable and Verbatim 2.4X - 6X Dual Layer White Inkjet Printable media, I haven't burnt a coaster in many moons.__________________
