The other day I was looking for updates for my hp laptop (pavilion zd8158ea) and the official page provided a wrong firmware update. I didn't notice that until I actually ran the update and an error occured. The drive in question is a tsstcorp CD/DVDW TS-L532L. It can read all media, write lightscribe labels, but no longer burns dvd's. I mean, the dvd appears blank after a "successful" burn.

Do you know how I can replace the firmware for its original?
I assume that's a firmware problem, because I recently formatted my pc an the problem goes on. Here is the link to the wrong one I tried to install:

Thanks in advance

Do they have modified flashers? I can't imagine, that a LG flasher would even attempt to flash totally different hardware...

Some LG packages contain FORCE flashing flashers, I've read in the LG section.
It can be convenient, but it can be also terrible...
