Hi, I've been looking around and trying to find out what firmware I need to download for my HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4040B, and I still don't have much of an idea. My current firmware level is A109.

I was told to have a look on the Hitachi site, but I've pretty much drawn up a blank there (perhaps I haven't been looking right?) I'd be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction so that I don't download the wrong firmware and stuff up my DVD burner

Your drive is LG, *IF* it really is GSA.

I checked with Driveinfo again, and it says GSA :3 Sorry if this is a silly question - out of that bunch of links, do I choose the A109 one?

A114 seems to be good.
