Hi there, I purchased a black Liteon LTR-52246S with my new computer and today I've decided to flash it with the latest 6S0F firmware. The flashing process finished perfectly but upon rebooting my system, I get a blue screen of death five seconds into the WinXP desktop screen.

I rebooted many times to no avail. What went wrong? Right now, I disconnected my Liteon CDRW drive from the IDE and the computer is running smoothly again.

Please help! I hope my burner isn't busted

xp is nt architecture, that said it is suceptable to not boot if you have faulty hardware,so what you do is find a computer with win 98,or plainly flash it again from dos,so first thing is "DO NOT PANIC",and then slowly go towards the solution.
Once you exploit all the options you will know where you stand, until then try everything possibile.
On more thing about flashing anything is:"DO NOT FLASH YOUR HARDWARE UNLESS YOU REALLY NEED TO .
