Newbie Forum Discuss, wma to mp3 conversion at Starters forum; I am trying to burn audio books to cd's in mp3 format. These files are any to 9 to 15 hours in length and are in the wma format which I have a license for. However the Roxio Media Creator 7 software will not allow me to burn to cd.

Also I will need to break these files into seperate tracks so a program that will do both would be great. I have tried recording real time via the Roxia sound recorder and manually breaking out the tracks but this is very time consuming.

If your wma files are somehow drm (digital rights management)-enabled, that may prevent any conversion program to perform the conversion.

I seriously doubt your license includes removing the drm copy protection.

If Windows Vista is the answer, how stupid must have been the question?

So your saying that wma offers different levels of protection on their content that may or may not allow cd burning?

So I guess I'm back to converting these files in real time. Are there any programs that will have a timer function and will auto insert track breaks so I could start the process and walk away from it?
