| Hey there everyone! I am very new to this and need help!! I am having difficulties burning DVD data disks with Nero 6 on my Sony DVD RW DW-D56A burner. I keep getting a message saying "unspecified target error" when i try to burn and have no idea why! Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I have attached a copy of the error log from nero so i hope this helps. Thanks! |

| Judging by the burn speed specified by "Burn process failed at 2x (2,760 KB/s)" in your log file, either the drive needs a firmware update for the particular media you are using, or the media is poor quality. Fire up DVD Decrypter in ISO write mode and check what it says for Manufacturer ID: in the right hand pane of Decrypter. You might also want to edit out your Nero serial number that's in the log file  Regards TZ
