Please Help: uninstall vistamizer

Newbie Forum Discuss, uninstall vistamizer at Starters forum; i installed vistamizer(it makes xp look like vista) & its applications in my friends(new to computers)new laptop....initially one of its application gave major problems(caused system failure and restart)...finally fixed...true transperancy gave few problems.. he still kept it because of its glassy finish...finally he got tired of its side effects...so i

i installed vistamizer(it makes xp look like vista) & its applications in my friends(new to computers)new laptop....initially one of its application gave major problems(caused system failure and restart)...finally fixed...true transperancy gave few problems.. he still kept it because of its glassy finish...finally he got tired of its side effects...so i told him to uninstall it either from the start menu or from the control panel......mistake happened was i forgot to tell him to change his windows theme ...and he being new to installing and installing didnt give attention to the caution th program gave while unstalling......so now vistamizer is uninstalled....but the changes it had done to the system has not changed.....i do remember vistamizer telling of creating a restore point before installation but system restoresays no restore point till date(laptop bought 1 month ago)...so how do i change it back to normal...............

also i myself installed and uninstalled it at my home.......only problem being follows............u know the volume icon in the notification area on the right lower area of the screen......the volume control which comes on single click usedto make a sound before which was ok.....now it makes a very ugly sound on clicking it......i checked out the windows sound setting which is still in windows default..i couldnt find any option to change this sound ........i know this is not that major a problem but i still could use some help......

problem found in my friends laptop...he had installed threatfire later..it id'd vistamizer uninstall as malware and quarantined it...so it never got uninstalled.......now it has been removed and all system changes reverted to normal................
