Question: Two DVD drive setup (1 SATA / 1 IDE)

Newbie Forum Discuss, Two DVD drive setup (1 SATA / 1 IDE) at Starters forum; Hello. I just bought a new LiteOn iHAS324-09 to take the place of an LG GH22LP20 that has "issues". Since the LG still works well for playback and some old CD ROM games, I want to install both in my PC. The LG is IDE and the LiteOn is SATA.

So, do I need to change the jumper from master to slave...or not?

Hi and welcome mickeyway.
Since the LG is the only IDE drive you dont have to change anything,
leave it as it is.
