taking snapshots of windows desktop

hi i would like to be able to take snapshots so i can also post pics, which sometimes can be a great help.

Hit Print Screen button > open Paint ( Start > All Programs > Accessories ) > hit Ctrl +V > Save as

Edit it in e.g. Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Ulead PhotoImpact, ACDSee, Paint Shop Pro etc.

Hit Print Screen button > open Paint ( Start > All Programs > Accessories ) > hit Ctrl +V > Save as

Edit it in e.g. Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Ulead PhotoImpact, ACDSee, Paint Shop Pro etc.

hi boskin could you please explane the print screen button?
i get the rest of what i have to do but can`t find this screen button.running xp pro sp 1 (plus the million & 1 updates this week)

The print screen button is on your keyboard. Usually toward the right side and near the top.
