| svideo is just for the picture so you will need an audio cable. optical or phono will work just fine.

| Not to sound stupid or anything but have you looked in the manual? Can you post a pic?

| What colours are the jacks? As these sound like audio and r/f connectors ie are the red yellow white if they are you will find on newish tellys / VCR's that on the front or occasionly the rear of the product you will find these connectors these are for plugging in camcorders / digital cameras etc etc so that you don't need to fiddle around the back of the telly / VCR. If not then what does it say they are in the manual or can you post a pic like womble said.

| yeah i know its a dumb question, how do you think i feel? The manual says its called a vivo input/output adapter to connect vcr etc to video card. it doesnt have instructions, theres a diagram showing the four cables running to the vcr and the tv,: svideo out and composite out to the tv, and svideo in and composite in to the vcr or at least to cables coming from them. is the composite cable instead of or as well as the svideo? i couldnt find anywhere to plug that in anyway. i think the colour coding is green in and orange out., as theres two of each. anyway, thanks for your patience. cheers |
