sub-channel data

Newbie Forum Discuss, sub-channel data at Starters forum; Do i need to copy sub-channel data while copying CD's? (both for protected and unprotected CD's) . I use Clone CD . Does the copy of the CD work if i don't copy sub-channel data?

You need sub-channel data for securom, securom new (not securom 4.8x though you will need to extract subs to use twinpeak with clonecd), libcrypt psx (don't correct subs on burn required) and karaoke cds (don't correct subs on burn also required).

Otherwise, there is no requirement to read or write subs for a successful copy.
