Roxio MyDVD LE error -47007

Hi

I have a Dell 9200 PC with a RAID setup. The supplied Roxio software has worked to create coies of material but on the first use of DVD-Video it fails. I am adding Quicktime MOV files from my camera and want to have a disk with a selection of my short clips on DVD to send to a friend. I don't think the error is anything to do with the DVD writer it is a TSSTcorp DVD+_RW TS-H553A and I am usng Sony DVD +R disks as it doesn't start burning.

MyDVD completes the transcoding of video and comes up with an error after starting and running transcoding of audio for a while with the message "Decoding of Audio failed -47007"

I am at a loss wondering what this error means and would appresciate some help.

From the error given, I would assume the Roxio software simply cannot decode the audio from quicktime clips. I am unfamiliar with the Roxio software but you will probably have to use other software to first convert the MOV files to DVD format before before burning. Convertxtodvd is good at converting most video formats to DVD files. It is not free but you can try it out first:

".MOV files do not play in MyDVD or other Roxio components.

Roxio components require QuickTime 7.04 to play .MOV files. To solve this problem, upgrade QuickTime on your computer."
so try and updating/installing quicktime first

Thanks, I have Quicktime 7.6.6 and the clips do play in Roxio.
