| the VIDEO_TS folder IS the movie...that is what is SUPPOSED to be burned to the dvd so I'm not sure where the confusion is? pop in any store-bought pressed dvd and navigate to the drive using windows explorer and you'll see that all a dvd is is a VIDEO_TS folder and an AUDIO_TS folder. the audio folder is empty 99% of the time. the video folder should contain IFO, BUP, and VOB files. |

UNDERWORLD_EVOLUTION.iso If that is so, start CloneDVD2. Select write existing data/ click next On the left botton side of the screen select ISO/UDF image/browse for your .iso file. On the right side of the screen select preferred speed; DVD writer and /click Go Edit: I forgot about your 4700MB on post #12. If the .iso file is now around 4.36GB or 4,570,000KB you should have no problem. Al |

| I'm starting all over again. Here's what I've done this far I but the DVD in the DVD-Burner. Next, I open up AnyDVD Next open up ConeDVD2 Click Copy DVD Titles. Next, I find the DVD Video File which is the DVD Movie in the DVD-Burner which detects F:/VIDEO_TS Next, I choose DVD-5 Quality Next, Audio and Subtitle Settings which I didn't touch. Next, Output Method then I clock Go! Next screen says creating ISO/UDF Image... Were getting closer. I'm gonna learn this program with your help. Did I do this wrong please comment or make suggestions...thank you! Screen Shots Preview~ |

Okay, I've tryed what you said. The DVD ISO was burned to 4.07GB. I followed your simple instructions and here's the problem I'm running in to now. Once I do the two steps the third step keeps asking for recordalbe media into drive F: There's a blank DVD disk ready to burn but all I keep getting is a CloneDVD2 Message telling me to insert recordable media into drive F: ? Please help! Please review picture attachment. |

Your exactly right! I checked the discs in the light and that was the problem. Now I found a good clean DVD-R 4.07 GB and the movies ripping perfectly. I want to thank you and everyone else that helped advance my knowledge to the next level. You guys rock! Group hug anyone? |

| anydvd needs to be running during the RIPPING process, but not necessarily during burning. i leave anydvd on ALL the time because it keeps cds and dvds from "autoplaying" or installing anything on the system and the drive speed control functions are nice if you have noisier drives |

| also... i wouldnt recomend burning at 16x.... |

What is the purpose of using Nero CD-DVD Speed? and should it also be running with my other apps at the sametime such as AnyDVD/ CloneDVD2? I downloaded it to my desktop and opened it up. When you click on it, all it does is open and close. Does it need to go into a directory or what? It doesn't install it's self it just opens and then you can close it. What and where should it be applied? |

it's a standalone utility that can run tests on the drive itself or on burnt discs (estimates readability and burn quality...i emphasize ESTIMATES) there's no need to have it running during any part of the process. it's merely a tool that helps you to evaluate the quality of the burn. most people don't bother with testing, but some of us are serious cdfreaks and get a little too into it haha. if you're burning with good media at a reasonable speed on a drive with up to date firmware and getting playable backups then testing isn't all that necessary, but if you're curious check out the blank media forum and the media testing subforum on cdfreaks for more information on this. Warning: it's easy to get addicted |

| It doesn't have to be installed. I keep mine in the tools folder of nero, and have a shortcut on the start menu. It's basicaly a testing suite for your drive and burns. Most people use the Quality Scan and Transfer Rate Tests to get some idea how readable their burns are. It could possibly help narrow down where your problem lies to perform these tests and post up the graphs. If you test your burns before you delete your files from your hard-drive you might find out that they were bad burns and get a chance to reburn, perhaps trying a different speed or better media. If you still have disks you can't get information from, Isobuster is worth a try. You right-click on the files and folders and choose extract. You can set up the options to make more attempts to retrieve bad sectors before giving up as well. If it's a dvd, Dvd Decrypter probably does a better job than Isobuster, but try Isobuster first. |

| you can buy dual layer discs (about $2 a pop on sale if you live in the US) or you can remove the special features and everything but the man movie by deselecting titlesets in the "title configuration window" (the window that you have in the first screenshot in post #29 |

| or you can split the movie in two... but that would mean you would have to change over half way through.. |

Second question, The next time I want to burn a DVD with CloneDVD2/AnyDVD all I have to do is adjust the quality settings to DVD-9 or choose DVD DL+ if I'm using a Dual Layer DVD disc to write on correct? Last edited by digital_trans; 14-06-2006 at 10:04. |

| There are two layers that are each 4.7 gigs... so yeah twice the size |

So that type of disc is going to cost alot more then the standard 4.7GB DVD-R Discs right? |

| Question? The sound seems to be very low when playing anything burned using AnyDVD/ CloneDVD2. Is there an option to adjust the sound volume or set it to a higher level? I can here sound perfectly but, would prefer to make a volume adjustment just before a final burn of the DVD. What are my options if any? |

| I assume that the sound/audio settings are automatic since no one seems to have the answer to my question. Never the less. thanks for all the past support on this related topic. |
