PS2 Final Fantasy X-2 and Kingdom Hearts

I can't copy several of my games including FFX-2 and Kingdom Hearts.
I will be installing a mod chip in my newly acquired PS2 (don't laugh).
I am trying to backup my games before I let them loose to my animals (kids).
Using 1Click DVD Copy, which has ben exeptional backing up DVD movies. I am also using DVD43 copyright defeating software.
I have backed up several PS2 games (although I haven't tried them because I haven't installed my mod chip yet), but when I try to copy the above games, my software seems to only record about 850kb of info.

Help! I am a newby to PS2 backup.

I am not the king of forums... so if you could help me with a reply here and also email me at bukyman@peoplepc.com with your expertise, I would appreciate it.

If you use my email address to try to sell me something or put me on your list to generally piss me off... just because I need help with PS2 doesn't mean I am not a computer genius that will not track you down and kill you.

Do you've already tried dvddecrypter for backing up ps2 games?

No, I haven't tried DVDDecrypter. When I try to find a place to download it, this is what I found out:

The website dvddecrypter.com was shut down because the entertainment industry, in particular one organization that has been so far unnamed (most likely the MPAA) threatened the creator, Lightning UK!, with all sorts of unhappy legal problems if he didn't comply. Since he is not able to hire fancy high-priced attorneys, he felt that he had no choice but to give in to the demans of the bullying organization.

If you know where I can download a copy, let me know. Thanks.

Try just using Nero to copy the disc.

1. Insert disc.

2. Run disc copy program (ANY program for data).

3. Copy the disc.

The problem here is that you're trying to use a VIDEO copy program (1click), and VIDEO copy protection defeating program (DVD43) to copy DATA. Try using a data program, like Nero or Roxio.

Thanks for the help! I downloaded DVDdecrypter from the link rapid fire suggested, but I will have to try it later. I also have nero.
Right now I have to install my mod chip (DMS4 Pro) and try the backups I made with 1Click before Christmas and the mod on my PS2 Slim requires a bit more money and expertise than the 3 PSOnes I modded. Wish me luck and thanks again for your help!

Your current backups are useless. 1Click is for video. It won't copy a data disc, I don't know what is on the backups you made, but it most likely is NOT game data.

You need to use a data backup tool.
