Newbie Forum Discuss, Problem with conversion AVI. video file at Starters forum; Hi Everybody I have problem with conversion AVI. video file I used TMPGEnc 2.5 software to covert AVI. video clip to MPG format. After I burn it to VCD, video was fine but there is no audio . Please Help . Thanks Richard

Does your original avi have sound ?

If yes , when you say to the program "there is the avi file " you will get 2 columns.One saying the videostream and the other the audiostream.If the audio is not filled in , It won't have any sound.
So I would check that first.

Yes the original AVI file has sound and play fine on my computer (with Audio end video) The video and audio columns in TMPGEnc are filed with the correct
info which is the name and the location of AVI file in my computer.
