| Hi all. This is my first attempt to copy a DVD using printable media. I’m using Infiniti DVD-R media. Nero creates the image OK but fails on the burning process and displays the following message: ‘Could not perform end of disc-at-once’. ‘Burn process failed’ Nero will burn the DVD to a DVD+RW media but not the Infiniti Printable media. Is there any way of testing if the printable media is faulty? Nero is working OK on all other media. |

| Can you try another burn with the Infiniti discs, and this time save the error log when prompted by Nero? Post it here, and we'll have a look and see what's going wrong

| OK, a few things leap out at me ![]() The first, and main thing, is the fact that Nero is possibly misreporting your drives' DMA status due to the nVidia IDE drivers. I would recommend to uninstall these (there should be an entry for the nVidia drivers in Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs - you don't want to uninstall all of them, just the IDE drivers), and use Windows' own drivers. Next, is the fact that you have the InCD portion of Nero installed - I'd get rid of it, unless you use it. But before you try any of that, lower the burn speed of the Infiniti discs to 8x or 12x and see if that sorts it out. ![]() BTW, I'm from the UK too, but a fair bit further South

| Will try your tips and let you know the outcome. cheers. |
| Hi Arachne. Your tip for reducing the burn speed did the trick. I reduced the read speed from Max' to 8x and the only burn speed options displayed were max' or 2.4x and 2x, so I chose 2.4x. The burn process worked without any problems but I did notice that 4x write speed was showing during the burn operation. I don't know why there was a difference between the burn speed that I set and the one that was displayed but I'm not complaining as I got my DVD burnt ok. Thanks a lot for your expert help. |
| How strange your LG wouldn't burn those discs at 8x ...but I'm glad reducing the speed sorted it out, you're welcome
