Pc wont start up, just keeps repeating the same process, going to the boot up page that offers 5 options from safe mode thro to starting windows normaly, whatever you choose it just goes back to same

Im not sure of the make its from zoom computers the boot device gives the drive as Hitachi HDP 725032GLA360, For some months now I have been having problems with my pc.. it started off by not starting up properly, it would just freeze then i would have to turn it off and keep trying. This seemed to stop happening for a while, then the problem became the mouse, it just wouldnt work, it would be
working one minute then just stop working, always had new batteries, this again seemd to pass after a few times. But, now, it has started to play up again, friday the pc just froze and would not respond at all and now it just will not switch on and boot up... All it keeps doing is coming up with the 5 options of "Safe Mode, thro to last known good config or start windows Normaly.... I have tried them all and it just gets to the windows XP screen and then switches off and reboots back to the same options of above... I have tried to get it to work for days now and i am at my wits end....HELP...

Sounds like it is either the hd has failed, or you bios is messed up. You might try removing the hd and see if you can read it in another machine.

You could try a fresh install of the OS, or the recovery discs if you have them.

Hiya,
This happened to me and I just shut it down then restarted choosing the 'Command prompt' only selection then typed in the instruction 'FIXBOOT'. After restarting the problem had rectified itself.

May work

Once up you will need to run some major Anti Virus programs and use Malwarebytes .

You may also need to check for Ram problem, maybe one or more going bad
Also could be Power Supply going out and causing the shutdown.
