outlook express

hi.....again lol

i was wondering if anyone knew the storage size of outlook express, or if there is a limt like there is on hotmail etc etc.

im trying to get sum files back from friends, but the files are so huge and msn keeps failing blah blah. so was wondering if they sent them through outlook, whether it will have a limit or not.

sorry for being such a pain!

Hotmail is 2MB unless you paid the fee....Yahoo is 4MB. Outlook (Express) respects these limits still, but you can save the messages to your machine if you want some extra space on your account.

Outlook express does not have a limit itself other than the free space on your hard disk.

However, your email provider may have set a limit:

For the maximum message size to be received (sometimes limited to 1 MB)
For the maximum size of storage size (be sure to delete messages from the server after you retrieved them and thus freeing space on the mailserver) (mostly limited to 10 MB when with an ISP)
