good... im a newbie... i love cdfreaks... dont waste it site by turning it into a illegal "warez" site. read the rules and everyones happy. posting links to cracks helps nobody. ben

To ensure a pleasant atmosphere we would also like to ask everyone to not enforce the rules on other users. We have capable moderators that will take care of anything that is not allowed by our rules. If you see any inappropiate post or thread then please report it to the moderator of the forum, or to an (Senior) Administrator.

Reason for this is that we know from experience that not everyone likes to be 'corrected' by other users. Besides that our staff has a long time experience on how to deal with these kind of situations.

CDfreaks has evolved past the point where it's just a place to swap hacks & cracks & keygens. If you want those, go play around on IRC or something. This site is to help people, not pirates.

To add to what Domi wrote, there is a report bad post feature that will dispatch an e-mail to all moderators pertaining to that forum as well as all Senior staff, which can result in a faster remedy. There is no need to write anything directed at the user that made a bad post, simply reporting them anonymously will result in the pleasant atmosphere we want to acieve.

The report bad post button is located under a users post count and looks like an orange colored exclaimation point behind a squarish looking box:

Half the stuff people talk about here is piracy, all those " I made a -cough- backup -cough-" lines are in 75% of the threads on the whole site. so wtf?

Because CD Freaks needs sponsers and such to run. Most of these sponsers won't want anything to do with illegal activities, so therefore CDF won't get the money they need to make this a free community.

If you want a hacker/illegal forum, there are plenty out there, but not here I bet over half the people on this forum do things illegal (regarding computers) all the time. This just isn't the place to discuss things like that. The chat on the other hand...

2. You do a search first I bet you will find over 10 threads relating to that subject

On the other hand a few lines down you can see detalide advice given to someone how to use and copy new release movie with a DVD copy software "legally " purchased over the Net through vitual shops. Actually all those softwares with CSS endrypter are ILLEGAL , it it why you can't buy them in the shops.
What about moral, here.

Whilst css decryption utilities are illegal in the US, they are not illegal in all countries and, in case you hadn't noticed, this forum is based in Holland not in the US.

If you call it international forum than you should accept our differences
( what is legal & illegal in different part of the world).You can legally buy dope in Amsterdam but not here in Sydney or New York.You can't buy any of DVD copy softwares with a CSS decrypter here because they are ILLEGAL.On the other hand you are legally allowed to download software from the net, here Down Under.
If you denied that , this forum will survive only on local level.You cant see things further from ther tip of your nose.Don't worry - nobody is perfect.
