| need software recommendation Can anyone recommend software for me that will allow me to make my own personal copy of a store bought dvd? Also I ned software to play a dvd to just to watch. My windows media player says i need an dvd encoder. Will any software do both? Thanks much. P.S Im a newbie, just installed a NEC dvd burner today. Bobl |

| To copy DVD's there are a number of program that you can use. They include DVD Shrink, CloneDVD. To play a DVD in Windows Media Player you do need a DVD encoder. You maybe able to find a free one on the web. If not then when you install a program such as PowerDVD this will install the codec needed for you to use WMP.
