ok it tells you bad media...what media are you using? (please give us the media ID that can be found on the disc info tab of nero cd-dvd speed)

also what brand/model is your drive?
what firmware do you have?

what versions of clonedvd and anydvd are you running?

we're here to help, but we need info in order to do so!

is your drive a dvd-rom dvd burner combo or is it just a dvd-rom if its just a dvd-rom cd-r burner it will not burn a dvd movie but the dvd-rom will read the movie fine. if this is the case you will have to buy a dvd burner hope this helps mustburn

the error says media right error when I click onit is say Write DVD.10.11.W2 it is an internal burner Light on DVD RW SOHW-812S. I am running Clone dvd 2 & Any DVD 6.0.3.1. I have never heard of the media ID I use different types of DVD's, DVD-R and DVD+R. I also use differnt brands and I have never had this problem before. It takes along time to read and when it does it goes to 9% and gives the error message or it just keeps asking for blank media. Sorry about needing more info this is all very very new to me so please work with me on this

put a blank dvd in your burner without anydvd running disable it in settings does it still spit out your blank dvd? if so i would expect it is time for a new dvdburner they dont last forever. or the media is incompatibale with your burner are you sure they are dvds or have you possibly inserted a cd-r ive seen this happen quite alot check your media just for the sake of it type dvd or cd-r and if it still spits it out i would suggest installing a new dvd burner they cost about 60.00 for a lite onit not bad .another thing do you by chance have dvd43 on your pc if so this will mess your whole burnig drives up when installed with anydvd not reccommended.or any other decrypter have you added any new programs latelyif so remove them one by one reboot retry you may even try a system restoreback to the point before your troubles started some ideas good luck mustburn have you run a good virus scan latley another potential problem!!

why buy a new burner just now, we've not ruled it as broken yet, but it sounds more like a media problem.

but some verbatim DVD+R's and see if you still have the same problem.

your right rule out everythig else first of course but it sounds like a hardware issue to me i may be wrong by that i mean a incompatibility issue of diffeernt burning or decrypter issues as opposed to the media? ive had my burners do the same things only to find out another program was acessing my burners which can be checked very easily/ my computer select drive /properties and select setting tab to adjust what programs you allow access to the burners mustburn
