mpeg-4 problem

Im having an issue with mpeg-4's. Im using convertxtodvd. its says its converting and does and then it burns only to not be able to view on DVD player. Ive just recently started to use the app so not sure if im doing something wrong. Ive burned a few bin files and they view fine. any suggestions? another program mabey?

Do you mean that you're trying to convert from MPEG-4 to MPEG2..?
After conversion, will the output play in your PC..?
Please post what make and model is your standalone DVD player.__________________

hi,
I dont know what im trying to convert it to...i just load in the file and hit convert and then hope for the best. I didnt think i was supposed to do anything else. no it will not play in my pc. but the bin file i burned will play in both. thats what i find weird. im definately a newbie at this stuff. my player is philips dvp3040 dvd player. also when i try to play it is just stays on loading.

After the conversion, do you get a Video_TS folder with some .IFO, .BUP, and .VOB files inside? If not, what does the output look like? __________________
