Hello, Again..... My computer name is Lincoln^in^Maine, originally because I was driving a Lincoln Continental when I joined and I was living in Maine (USA); hence the nik. Tomorrow is another birthday for me... I'm not telling how many. But I will say that I work as a supervisor in the medical field, that we use many computers and work with radionuclides. There are 5 of us in my work area. We all have multiple degrees; I have 5 with #6 coming next Spring. I am married, have a daughter who works as a molecular biologist for a computer company in Orlando, and my wife, a radiation physicist, also works with computers. We have 4 of these beasts at home, too (not including hand-held units) I have a particularly odd fascination with time, so you might know what my hobby is. I'm not telling. lolOK, time for me to rediscover this place. It has been many years since I got irritated and left. That's in the past. An e-mail wishing me a Happy Birthday tomorrow is what got my attention, again...

I just joined this forum several days ago and already I've acquired some very useful knowledge for use in my Free-Lance audio 'hobby.'. (I say hobby, because I am so passionate about, I do it 4 hours a day on average.) A little bit about me, I'm a 50 - year old guy who, just last year sucessfully defended my Masters' Thesis and received my Master Of Science Degree in Professional Media Studies. My thesis was actually a 15-minute AUDIO documentary about nature, featuring wonderful sounds of nature that I recorded in and around the Shawnee National Forest in Illinois, and including interviews with a variety of hikers and other outdoors enthusiasts. I have been in some form of broadcasting - radio or tv - since 1981 and have loved everything about this field that I have chosen. I am a former radio station DJ, and I also keep busy sometimes doing free-lance voice-over work for television stations here in the area. In addition, I am also a daily 'reader' for the regional Sight-impaired audio service, and am a very frequent contributor to another website that houses and catalogs sounds for anybody to use at no charge. In short, when I retire from the wonderful University job that I currently have - possibly in about 10 years - I HOPE to make my current 'hobby' into more of a moneymaking venture. In the meantime though, I'll still continue to be very excited about and involved in any audio 'Theatre of The Mind' work that is out there. Kevin (a.k.a. kvgarlic on this forum)

Welcome to the forums masonvilled201. Try a program called ISOBuster and see if it can find the photos on your cd. ISOPuzzle is another possibility. If you need more information, please feel free to start a new thread in the Newbie forum.
