I had a comp sense 99 but only working on them for about 10 years. I need to broaden my horizan a little and enrich my knowlege a lot. I want to learn more about computers. i like what someone else said in the thread on this page I need to do something everyday too. I want to post a question too. About making a screen saver if it's hard or not or if you can.

Oh yeah ... these weird limitations in five messages. Who from this has become easier? Only the subject as a result and will become clogged, I think.

Newbie here when it comes to editing ect on the computer, I've used nothing but Avio/Casablanca stand alone for making my video/DVDs & it was Soooo simple. It's crashed after 10 excellent years of service & I cannot justify $4000+ since I don't do nearly as much Video editing now. I've already been helped with my 1st post/question & I thank those that took the time.. John

Well my name is Andrew. I've been a member for some years now but have never introduced myself. I find computers very fascinating, and I always like mine to be "top-shelf". Some of my knowledge has been from trial and error, some from looking at the guts All else has been from reading out of curiosity. Just yesterday I found a very intriguing SSD (check out in link) that's a PCI express 480GB around $1500 (Yes, I know that's pricy) that out performs an enterprise SSD that costs over $9000. I'm currently hoping a thermal compound replacement will work for my laptop. I have also fixed the "Three Red Rings of Death" on the Xbox 360, but for many here, I'm sure that's a piece of cake (which is what I thought too). As for my friends and family, they thought I was a big computer wiz. I used to be a chronic gamer, and I realized my addiction to video games and the simple thought of that made me quit. I own myself Although I do play once in awhile but no longer any games like MW3 or whatever else has come out since. I love working on cars, as far as modifying the body, interior, and performance. I also do the maintenance on my vehicle besides oil changes (For the price most places charge, it's less of a hassle than having to properly dispose the old oils). I am 25 year old male from Fort Wayne, IN. I have 4 year old twins, Logan and Lilie. Their mother and I couldn't work things out, but we still get along to this day and I get my kids every week for half of the week. One thing I will never understand are fathers that complain about having their kids over the weekend. One guy I worked with only 2 years older than me, complained about how he had plans to go out of town on father's day but had to change plans because he was now getting his kids. Mine are everything to me, and it's very depressing to think of a world without them. I recently lost my job, I worked at Lowes for a little over 4 years. I worked mostly in Hardware, Tools, and Building Materials, and enjoyed my job. My "micro-managing" store manager just didn't like the fact that my children are more important than a part-time job, and used some over-drawn tardies to "terminate" my job... jerk. I'm currently in college going for my B.S.M.E. I have always enjoyed the mechanics of things, and want to get into more of a scientific approach.
