my hp wont recognize a blank dvd-r in it i downloaded clone dvd & total video2 dvd but same issue help please

Please don't make more than one thread on the same subject confusedtoday.

Do us a favor and find out the make and model burner that you have. Download ImgBurn (a free burning program) and use the Discovery Mode. It will show your drive information on the right hand side of the window.

Your burner may not be compatible with DVD-r. Have you tried DVD+r?
